About

The Linties are a fun community singalong group set up during the pandemic on Zoom to keep isolated people in Govan in touch with each other. We still do weekly Zoom sessions as well as meeting in person in Govan. Led by pianist and song leader, Catherine Muir, the group will sing through several songs from the 20s and 30s all the way through to ABBA, The Beatles etc. Some sessions are themed e.g. Burns Supper, Christmas. The Linties are based at Govan & Linthouse Parish Church, 796 Govan Road, opposite Govan subway, Glasgow.
