About

The Community Forget Me Not Choir, is a choir for all ages and new members are always welcome.

We sing a wide range of music chosen by our members, so mostly 60’s or 70’s and Scottish songs. Our signature song is You Are My Sunshine. We have also sung Always Argyll, Pack Up Your Troubles, Sky Boat Song and Waterloo.

The sessions are every Wednesday from 1.30pm – 3.00pm with a tea break so members can have a chat over a cuppa.

It is a very relaxing enjoyable afternoon of singing, laughing, making friends and also a means of gaining access to other networks within Argyll & Bute. We get invited to sing at gigs around Argyll. This year we are on stage at the Tarbert Music Festival, the mid Argyll show and the Ardrishaig Gala day. It’s a great honour and our community are all very supportive.
