Age Scotland dementia awareness training

We are running another online Dementia Awareness training session in December, especially for members of the Dementia Inclusive Singing Network.

The session will take place via Zoom on Thursday 15th December, 10am-12pm. Led by Julie Turner from Age Scotland’s Dementia Training Team, the interactive training session will explore how to communicate with people living with dementia and how best to include and support them in activities.

We hope the session will be a helpful refresher as many of us return to face-to-face singing activity. This session is specifically for members of the Network, and will provide an opportunity to connect and share experiences with fellow members. The session is free to attend.

Once you register you’ll be sent details of how to join the session. Please note that places for this session are limited and open to Dementia Inclusive Singing Network members only. Join the Network today at: https://singing.luminatescotland.org/join-the-network/.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

You can call Luminate on 0131 668 8066 or email singing@luminatescotland.org. If you have any online access needs, please let us know when you are booking.

Please note:

Each event organiser is responsible for all aspects of managing their event, so please note that any queries in relation to a specific event in your local area can be answered by your local event organiser who will be happy to speak to you about timing, programmes, the facilities provided and health and safety matters.
