Sounds Familiar is a friendly, fun group singing group for people with dementia and their carers which was established in 2013. We enjoy meeting on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the pleasant welcoming surroundings of the large function room of the Craigmonie Hotel.
We sing a variety of popular, traditional, songs and also enjoy hits from screen and stage. We particularly enjoy songs requested by members. We are accompanied by a 6 piece band who start playing as people arrive from 2pm. We are a community group entirely volunteer run and led and we depend on donations.

A typical afternoon would be:
