About
Singing in Harmony is a group for those living with dementia, their family and friends who enjoy music. The group, which was formed in 2019, gives members a chance to sing-a-long to their favourite tunes from country and pop, as well as traditional Scottish music.
We start each session by singing a few songs, which often triggers memories for everyone. This then leads us to a short interval where we reminisce over hot tea and biscuits before ending the session with more music.
