About

Founded in 2013, we are a singing group set up to provide support to people living with dementia and their carers. We are open to all ages and abilities with members from all over North and South Lanarkshire and further afield into Glasgow.
We sing songs from all genres – from gospel, through pop, musical theatre, and modern and traditional Scottish – so something for everyone!
Our weekly Wednesday sessions start at 10.30am with teas and chat, then we sing from 11am -12pm. The carers find they enjoy the support of meeting others in a similar situation and many new friendships are made. St John’s Church Hall in Hamilton has been our home for the start and is a great venue with its own cafe and parking. Although the halls close for summer, we always find another temp venue to continue our sessions through the school holidays.
Occasionally we are requested to perform at large events, but always put on our own in-house concert for friends and family at Easter, summer and Christmas. Members are free to come as often as they like with no commitment and no membership fees, just £1 entry.
