About

Come & Sing Lenzie is a dementia friendly singing group that was founded in 2016. Although run by the church, it is a community resource and open to all. It is a mixed-voice choir that is open to people of all ages, and new members are always welcome. We sing a wide range of classic songs in lots of styles, from popular hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s, 90s through to traditional Scots songs and songs from the stage and screen. We are led by a few singers and accompanied by an excellent pianist. We sing together every second Tuesday afternoon for an hour and a half with tea & cake & chat to begin with and a short break in the middle. We regularly have guests to entertain -as long as we can sing along! We have a group of 15 volunteers who enthusiastically help in all ways and sing along.
